Tuesday's practice was Indiana's first day in full pads after going in just shoulder pads and shorts on Sunday and Monday. Wednesday, the Hoosiers will go to two-a-day practices for the first time.
The Big Ten Network kicked off its annual Football Preview Tour Tuesday with Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith and Tom Dienhart catching IU's practice and then doing interviews at the end of the day.
The BTN segment on IU will air on Indiana's Preview Show. That is scheduled to run on Aug. 12 at 8 p.m. ET. The network guys talked with Kevin Wilson, Seth Littrell and Doug Mallory on the coaching side and focused on quarterbacks Tre Roberson, Cameron Coffman and Nate Sudfeld on the player side.
In addition, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany attended practice and spoke to the team afterwards. IU athletic director Fred Glass presented Delany with a customized No. 25 jersey and helmet to commemorate Delany's 25th season as the Big Ten's commissioner.
Practice will be closed to the media again on Wednesday with availability to players next coming up on Thursday. To this point, the three IU quarterbacks have been off limits to the media as Wilson and his staff want them to remain focused without distractions. They are expected to be made available to the media sometime within the next week.
