Battle to take unofficial visit to Indiana

Indiana's busy week of visits will continue on Tuesday afternoon as 2016 guard Tyus Battle comes to town.

Indiana's busy week of visits isn't quite over.

The Hoosiers hosted six players over the weekend, including 2014 guards James Blackmon Jr., Robert Johnson and Isaiah Whitehead. Now, Tom Crean and his staff will welcome 2016 guard Tyus Battle to campus for an unofficial visit this afternoon.

Sources tell Battle's visit will continue through Thursday night.

Battle, a 6-4, 175-pound shooting guard from New Jersey, has been recruited by Indiana for quite some time. He took an unofficial visit to campus for a game against Michigan in February and regularly lists the Hoosiers as one of the schools recruiting him the hardest.

Battle has only visited Indiana, Connecticut and Seton Hall so far.

Battle also has offers from Villanova, UCONN, Syracuse and Miami, among others.

We will have more on this developing story later. Top Stories
