Three players to watch vs. Indiana State

A lot of Indiana players have the potential to have big games tonight against Indiana State. Here are three that believes are ones you should keep an eye on.

With different games this season, there will be two or three Indiana players that we think could come up especially big.

Here's three Indiana players in particular to keep an eye on tonight against Indiana State.

1.Tre Roberson: You know he's going to be part of the offense tonight in some fashion and when he gets in there, you have to think Roberson will be eager to show IU fans that his broken leg injury from a year ago is well behind him.

Last season against the Sycamores, Roberson was used more as a passer than a runner. He completed 26-of-36 passes for 280 yards including a 71 yard touchdown pass to Shane Wynn in the first quarter. Look for Roberson to come out throwing in this one and to show off his talented group of receivers.

2. David Cooper: Indiana's defense has a lot to prove and you can tell in talking to them that they're getting tired of hearing about all of the things they can't do. Look for Cooper, as the man in the middle of the IU defense at middle linebacker, to rise to the occasion in the season opener.

IU is young on defense and Cooper's leadership will play a big role in a quick maturation process. And if Shakir Bell is to be limited tonight in what he can do on the ground then Cooper and company will have a big say in the ability to slow Bell down.

3.Ted Bolser/Anthony Corsaro: The tight end position as a whole looked really look in preseason camp and expect the Hoosiers to utilize that position greatly throughout the season.

Bolser is coming off a season where he caught 41 balls and there's no reason to think that number won't just increase this year. And Corsaro looks like a good possession receiver who will be dangerous down around the goal line when IU gets in the red zone.
