Gary Brown highlights Saturday visitors

With a Noon game on Saturday, Indiana won't get the same kind of recruiting traffic it did last week for Navy but that doesn't mean a big player or two won't be there.

There may not be a great number of recruits visiting Indiana Saturday for the IU-Bowling Green game because of the 12 p.m. start.

But that doesn't mean there won't be a few big recruits on hand.

One of those is Gary Brown, a 6-2, 275-pound offensive lineman from Alonso High School in Tampa, Fla. Brown will be making his official visit and will be accompanied on the trip by his mother.

Many believe that his leaders are Indiana and Georgia Tech.

Indiana already has three commitments in this class from offensive linemen. Another Florida prospect is one of them as Delroy Baker from West Port High School in Ocala, Fla. is on board. Baker is a tackle. Wes Martin, from West Milton, Ohio, is a guard who has committed. Another tackle is DeAndre Herron, a junior college transfer from Iowa Western.

Brown plays tackle in high school but is projected as either a guard or a center in college. If he opts to attend Indiana he would be IU's 11th commitment in the class.

He will arrive Friday and stay until Sunday.

Other visitors this week include two players who have already committed to IU. One is Fort Wayne (Ind.) South cornerback Donovan Clark, who committed to the Hoosiers on July 2. Accompanying Clark from Fort Wayne South will be in 2016 running back Kentail Moran.

The other IU commit will be Fishers (Ind.) wide receiver J-Shun Harris.

Other visitors expected to be at the IU-Bowling Green game include 2014 linebacker Jack Hockaday from Maroa (Ill.) Maroa-Forsyth, 2014 safety David Griffith from Avon (Ind.) and 2015 safety Harrison Johnson from Trotwood-Madison in Dayton, Ohio.

One other player expected to attend is Greenwood (Ind.) Center Grove fullback/defensive end/tight end Dillon Dallas.

If more players are added this list will be updated.
