Hill sets Indiana, Missouri visits

2014 guard Ahmed Hill will be in Bloomington for Hoosier Hysteria Oct. 4.

Indiana has picked up another 2014 visitor for Hoosier Hysteria next month.

Ahmed Hill, a four-star guard from Georgia, will take his official visit to Bloomington the weekend of Oct. 4 for the Hoosiers' first public practice. Hill also told AllHoosiers.com he will visit Missouri in early November.

The Hoosiers have been recruiting the 6-foot-4 Hill for some time, but the contact between the two has had its ups and downs over the course of the last year. When Indiana began recruiting Robert Johnson and Isaiah Whitehead, Hill said he still heard from the Indiana coaching staff, but not as much.

Hill has a number of high-major offers -- including Florida, Marquette and N.C. State -- but Missouri has been believed to be his leader for the last few months.

Early October may prove to be the perfect time for the Hoosiers to get Hill on campus. By then, they should have an answer on Johnson at the very least. If Indiana misses on Johnson, Hill becomes a much more important prospect.

Hill told AllHoosiers.com on Friday night he plans to announce his decision sometime in November despite the late visits. He joins Devin Robinson as confirmed 2014 visitors for Hoosier Hysteria. Whitehead is still in the process of planning his official visit to IU, but would like it to be the same weekend, according to a source.

Also, 2014 guard James Blackmon Jr. said his official visit to IU will likely come after Hoosier Hysteria. He has a prior engagement that weekend that will keep him from being on campus.
