Marcus Oliver and Darius Latham were two of IU's true freshmen who had big plays Saturday. Read about all of them here:

One of our weekly features in our postgame coverage is to take a look back at how Indiana's true freshmen performed in Saturday's game.

Seven true freshmen saw action for IU in the 45-28 loss to Missouri.

Here is how that group fared:

Marcus Oliver probably made the biggest play of any freshman with a forced fumble that would lead to an IU touchdown. He had four tackles, all solo, in the game.

Darius Latham had two tackles, including a half sack for 3 yards.

T.J. Simmons started for IU at middle linebacker. He had seven tackles, four solo.

Antonio Allen had six tackles, including five solo. He now has 11 tackles in the last two games.

Clyde Newton played but didn't have any statistics.

Laray Smith played but didn't have any statistics.

Danny Friend played but did not have any statistics.
