Jordan talks Hoosier Hysteria visit

2015 guard Aaron Jordan was among the recruits in town for the weekend. He already owns an IU offer.

When Aaron Jordan arrived in Bloomington for his unofficial visit on Thursday night, students and other fans were already lining up in front of Assembly Hall.

Jordan had heard Hoosier Hysteria would be a crazy event, but he wasn't prepared for what he saw when he got to town.

"It was beyond what I expected," Jordan said. "I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw people lining up. That's crazy stuff."

Jordan, a 2015 shooting guard from Plainfield (Ill.), picked up an offer from Indiana late in September. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard also has offers from Butler, Creighton, Fairfield, Illinois, Illinois State, Wisconsin and Xavier.

This weekend was Jordan's first trip to Bloomington, and he said it was a memorable one. He watched Indiana's two-hour practice prior to Friday night's Hoosier Hysteria, and then attended the event at Assembly Hall.

Jordan, the 20th-ranked shooting guard in the 2015 class, came to Indiana with one important question: How bad does Tom Crean want him?

"He answered it before I even had to ask it," Jordan said. "He said I was way past wanting and way past needing, I'm a must. Hearing that, I loved it. It made me feel real good."

Jordan said he doesn't plan to take any more visits for awhile because he's taken several recently and needs a bit of a break. He said he'll "definitely" return to Bloomington for a game this season. Top Stories
