Indiana ranked No. 24 in Coaches Poll

The Hoosiers are part of the preseason rankings for the second straight year.

Indiana debuted at No. 24 in the USA Today/Coaches poll, which was released Thursday.

The Hoosiers received 118 votes, 15 more than No. 25 Virginia and three fewer than No. 23 UCLA. Kentucky is the top ranked team in the initial poll, followed by Michigan State, Louisville, Duke and Arizona.

In total, there are five Big Ten teams in the top 25. Michigan, last season's national runner-up, is No. 9, Ohio State is No. 10, and Wisconsin comes in at No. 21.
