Malachi Richardson is closing in on a decision.
According to a source, the 2015 five-star forward plans to announce his decision some time next week.
Richardson recently narrowed his list to six schools: Indiana, Syracuse, Connecticut, Rutgers, Arizona and Villanova. But Richardson's three favorites are IU, UCONN and Syracuse, and he is expected to pick one of those three schools, according to the source.
Richardson, a 6-foot-5, 175-pound forward, is the third-ranked small forward in the 2015 class. The Hamilton, N.J. native plays at Trenton Catholic Academy.
Richardson attended the Indiana-Syracuse game at the Carrier Dome on Tuesday night. He has visited Bloomington a number of times, most recently for Hoosier Hysteria in early October.
Richardson would obviously be a big get for the Hoosiers. He is one of the elite shooters in the 2015 class, and is a very versatile wing.
