IU has four baseball All-Americans

Four Indiana baseball players were selected preseason All-American by College Baseball newspaper. Only Oregon State, with five selections, had more players named to the teams.

Four Indiana baseball players have been named preseason All-Americans by the College Baseball newspaper.

Indiana's quartet trails only Oregon State in terms of most members of the team. The Beavers had five preseason All-American selections. Indiana is one of only two teams that had two first-team All-Americans.

IU catcher Kyle Schwarber and third baseman Dustin DeMuth were named to the first team, while first baseman Sam Travis was named second team and starting pitcher Joey DeNato was a third team selection.
