Lately, though, Zeller has been picking up steam with the Charlotte Bobcats. He scored a career-high 12 points on 6-of-12 shooting in his last game against the Milwaukee Bucks, adding seven rebounds and four assists in only 22 minutes.
Through 29 games this season, Zeller is averaging a respectable 5.5 pionts and 4.2 rebounds in 18 minutes per game. He's shooting 39.6 percent from the field and 72.5 percent from the foul line.
Zeller also scored in double figures earlier this month against Oladipo and the Orlando Magic. The 7-foot Zeller had 10 points and six rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting in 15 minutes.
Zeller has not yet started a game this season, and he has not yet attempted a 3-pointer. The Bobcats are currently 14-15 and right in the midst of the playoff race in a mediocre Eastern Conference. If the playoffs started today, Charlotte would be a five-seed.
