Football Recruiting Update: Jan. 1, 2014

Here are several reports from national recruiting analysts on IU recruiting targets. One of them, Tommy Mister from Chicago St. Rita, recently de-committed from Iowa State and now has Indiana as his leader. He ran for 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns last season.

Here are some stories involving Indiana recruiting targets from several of our Scout national analysts: 1. National Scout recruiting guru Allen Trieu has this update on Chicago St. Rita running back Tommy Mister, who recently de-committed from Iowa State, and now has IU as his leader. Mister ran for 1,700 yards and 30 touchdowns last season. LINK

2. Simone Scott who covers Ohio recruiting for has several updates on players either committed to or considering the Hoosiers. The first is one 2014 IU commit Nick Carovillano. LINK

3. Scott has this season highlight video of Walnut Ridge (Ohio) 2015 LB Anthony McKee. McKee has more than 10 major offers including two from Big Ten schools: IU and Illinois. LINK

5. There is also this report on 2014 WR Torrodd Carter from Westerville (Ohio) South who caught 63 balls last season for 1,111 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is considering Marshall, Minnesota, Indiana and Miami (Ohio). LINK

6. Jake Hausmann, a 2016 TE from Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller, has been hearing from IU, too. He recently received his first offer, that coming from Cincinnati. LINK

7. We also have this report from Kentucky recruiting analyst Brian Eldridge on 2015 4-star LB Emmitt Smith from Warren Central (Ky.). He will be making visits this month to IU, Arkansas and Louisville. He's also hearing from Kentucky and Purdue. LINK
