Vonleh named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

Noah Vonleh's career-high 19-point effort against Penn State Saturday earned him Big Ten freshman of the week honors.

Indiana forward Noah Vonleh is the Big Ten's freshman of the week for a fifth time in 10 weeks, the conference announced Monday.

Vonleh had a career-high 19 points in Indiana's key 79-76 road victory at Penn State. He also pulled down six rebounds.

Vonleh scored IU's first 12 points of the game and hit both of his 3-point field goal attempts in the game.

Iowa's Roy Devyn Marble earned Big Ten player of the week honors.
