Breaking: IU-Ohio State game will be played

Indiana officials say the IU-Ohio State game will go on as scheduled today with a 4 p.m. nationally televised tip on CBS but that fans should stay safe and use their best judgment when traveling to Assembly Hall.

IU sent out a press release today saying that the game with Ohio State will be played as scheduled at Assembly Hall.

But university officials also want to make sure IU fans take extra precautions if heading south for the game.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Athletics has been in consultation with the Big Ten Conference, Ohio State and the Indiana State Police about today's men's basketball game between the Hoosiers and Buckeyes. The game will go on as scheduled at 4 p.m. ET in Assembly Hall and will be broadcast live on CBS. However, Indiana Athletics wants to remind fans to stay safe and use their best judgment when traveling to Assembly Hall.
