Transfer Anthony Lee: Indiana 'the favorite'

Temple transfer Anthony Lee tells that Indiana is the favorite to land him for next year. All the details here.

Anthony Lee, who announced Tuesday that he would transfer from Temple and play his final season elsewhere, tells that Indiana is "the favorite" to land him.

"I love the fan support they've shown me so far," Lee said. "It's really pretty crazy. I love the interest they've shown in me so far."

Lee, who averaged 13.6 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for the Owls last season, will be eligible to play immediately because of the graduate transfer rule.

Lee stands 6-foot-9 and weighs 230 pounds, and if he chose Indiana, he'd be a strong contender to start for the Hoosiers, especially if freshman Noah Vonleh leaves for the NBA.

Lee said he will take multiple visits, but declined to list his other top schools, other than to say he planned to give Indiana his last visit. He plans to announce his decision shortly after the NCAA championship game in early April.

Inside the Hall reported earlier Thursday that Louisville, Oklahoma State, Ohio State, Iowa State, Pittsburgh, Georgetown and St. John's are some of the other schools that have contacted him already.
