Indiana baseball had the Big Ten player of the week for the second week in a row Monday when Dustin DeMuth picked up the honor.

The IU senior third baseman extended his hitting streak to 14 games last weekend during a three-game sweep of Ohio State in conference play. DeMuth hit .529 for the week with two home runs and five RBI. In IU's four games last week, he had two hits or more three times.

It's the first time DeMuth has captured the award this season and the second time in his career.
