After having its nine-game win streak snapped on Sunday in an 8-7 loss to Morehead State, the No. 18 ranked Indiana baseball team will return to action Wednesday to play host to Western Kentucky.
Game time is 6:05 ET at Bart Kaufman Field.
The Hoosiers (21-11) will use the game as a tune up for a Big Ten weekend series against Michigan State. The Hoosiers will host the Spartans for three in a row.
Indiana is in first place in the Big Ten standings with an 8-1 conference record. The Hoosiers have won six Big Ten games in a row, sweeping back-to-back conference series' from Ohio State and Iowa.
Nebraska is one game in conference play at 7-2, followed by Illinois at 6-3, Penn State at 5-3 and Michigan State at 5-4.
Probable starters for today's game against the Hilltoppers (19-17) will be IU lefty Brian Korte against Western Kentucky lefty Ryan Thurston.
