The Indiana baseball team made it through the first half of the Big Ten conference season with an impressive 11-1 record.
The Hoosiers (25-11 overall) lone loss of the conference season was a narrow one-run defeat to Michigan on the Sunday of the conference-opening three-game series in March.
IU's hot start, however, will be put to the test this weekend when Indiana travels to Champaign to take on Illinois. The Illini are in second place in Big Ten play with a 9-3 conference mark. Illinois is 21-14 overall.
IU's other conference series' in the second half of the season include Purdue at home, at Penn State and Minnesota at home.
First pitch for the Hoosiers on Friday at Illinois is at 7 p.m. with the Saturday game at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
