IU target Cunningham picks Bradley

Chicago forward Josh Cunningham picked Bradley over IU, St. John's, DePaul and others.

Josh Cunningham, a 2014 forward from Morgan Park High School in Chicago, committed to Bradley on Tuesday afternoon. He chose Bradley over Indiana, St. John's, DePaul, South Carolina and others.

Cunningham had been an Indiana target for some time and was one of the top remaining forward available in the 2014 class. The 6-foot-8 forward expressed his desire to play the three position and not the four in college, and that likely was a big factor in his ultimate decision.

Missing out on Cunningham hurts the Hoosiers some, but Indiana has protected itself with recent pickups Jeremiah April and Tim Priller.

Indiana has five players in its 2014 class: April, Priller, James Blackmon Jr., Robert Johnson and Max Hoetzel.
