Left-handed pitcher Sullivan Stadler will pitch for the Hoosiers. Stadler is 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA this season.
IU is 6-1 this season in mid-week games. The Hoosiers are coming off a weekend series with Illinois where IU won two of three games. Indiana has captured every Big Ten series to this point and is 13-2 in conference play. IU leads the Big Ten by a full three games over both Nebraska and Illinois.
In the most recent RPI rankings, Indiana is No. 2. If the Hoosiers can maintain a lofty RPI it will give them a chance to host games at the Regional and Super Regional rounds in late May and early June.
IU is 28-12 overall. In late March, IU and Miami attempted to play a game at Bart Kaufman Field but it was rained out and no makeup date has been announced.
IU is back in conference action this weekend when it hosts rival Purdue for a three-game series beginning Friday evening.
