Football Recruiting Update: May 4, 2014

Here are several reports from national analysts on Indiana football recruiting targets including one on LaGrange (Ohio) Keystone 4-star TE C.J. Conrad who has more than 20 Division I offers but had narrowed his choices to two schools and will decide this week between Indiana and Kentucky.

Here are some stories involving Indiana recruiting targets from several of our Scout national analysts for Sunday May 4, 2014: 1. Bill Greene had this story about LaGrange (Ohio) Keystone tight end C.J. Conrad, a 4-star tight end prospect with more than 20 offers, who has narrowed his choices down to two schools and will decide next week. The two schools are Kentucky and Indiana. LINK

2. Greene also had this report on Chicago Hales Franciscan S Patrick Nelson who has an IU offer but Nevada may be the early team to beat in his recruitment. LINK

3. Rachel Klein had this report on Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances 2016 OLB Rahshaun Smith, who has an IU offer. LINK

5. Mike McAllister had this story on 2015 DT Trevaughan James from Pawling (N.Y.) Trinity-Pawling who has been receiving interest from Indiana. LINK

6. Chad Simmons reported that 2016 RB Elijah Hollyfield, son of former boxer Evander Hollyfield has six offers including one from Indiana.

7. Corey Bender reported that 2015 Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside OL Marquel Harrell has been offered by both IU and South Florida. Harrell is currently an Auburn commit.
