Indiana senior Joey DeNato picked up his third Big Ten pitcher of the week honor Tuesday and the fourth of his Indiana career following a dominant performance in Friday's 6-0 win over Purdue. DeNato threw seven scoreless innings, allowing five hits and striking out seven. He is 10-1 on the season and 6-0 in conference play.

The Indiana senior earned his third Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award this season Tuesday and the fourth of his career after another dominating performance Friday night against Purdue.
DeNato threw seven shutout innings, allowing five hits and striking out seven to help lead the Hoosiers to a 6-0 victory over Purdue at Bart Kaufman Field.
The senior left-hander from San Diego, Calif. is now 10-1 on the year with a 2.06 ERA. In his four-year IU career, DeNato is 34-9 with an ERA of 2.65.
In six Big Ten starts this season, DeNato is 6-0 with a 2.18 ERA in just over 41 innings pitched.
