Hoops Recruiting Central: Unofficial visitors

Indiana hosted a couple of recruits in the class of 2016 on Monday. How did they go? Find out here.

Indiana hosted a couple of 2016 recruits on Monday following the adidas Gauntlet event in Fishers, and those visits went well.

Payton Pritchard, a guard from Oregon, visited with his dad, Terry, and he received a scholarship offer while on the visit. Pritchard also picked up an offer from Butler on Monday and one from Iowa on Tuesday.

He had an up and down weekend, but he shined against the best competition. Pritchard had 33 points, eight assists and seven rebounds in a winning effort over top-recruit Thon Maker and his Team Loaded squad.

Pritchard already owned offers from Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon and Oregon State.

De'Ron Davis, a five-star big man in the 2016 class, also visited Bloomington on Monday before heading back to Colorado.

The Hoosiers have been recruiting Davis for sometime, and he called his trip to IU's campus "incredible."

Sean McDermott, a 2015 guard, had planned to take another unofficial visit to Indiana this week, but he couldn't work out a good day with the IU staff and said he will return to Bloomington sometime in June. McDermott wanted to visit on Wednesday, but couldn't get the day worked out with both parties' schedules.

McDermott recently received an offer from Butler.

We will be bringing back these Hoops Recruiting Central blogs more and more as the summer progresses. We are in the heart of recruiting season, so it should be fun.
