It was a busy day for the Hoosiers on Sunday as the contact period opened for 2016 recruits.
Indiana extended two scholarship offers in 2016 early in the day on Sunday. Tom Crean offered Ohio forward V.J. King last night and New York guard Rawle Alkins today.
Both King and Alkins are top 50 prospects. King, 6-foot-7 and 179 pounds, is the 6th-ranked player in the 2016 class. He plays for St. Vincent-St. Mary, the same high school LeBron James attended.
King has offers from UCONN, Illinois, Iowa State, Miami (Fl.), Michigan State, Ohio State, N.C. State, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Alkins, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard, is the 47th-ranked player in the class. He attends Christ The King in New York.
Alkins currently owns offers from Cincinnati, Minnesota, Seton Hall. South Florida, Villanova and George Washington.
