Shake Milton 'really enjoyed' Indiana visit

2015 guard Shake Milton was on campus Monday for an unofficial visit. What did he think? Find out here.

Shake Milton, a 2015 guard from Oklahoma, walked away from his unofficial visit to Indiana on Monday night thinking he could see himself being a Hoosier someday.

Milton, a 6-foot-4, 175-pound shooting guard who plays for the MOKAN Elite AAU team, is the 89th-ranked player in the 2015 class. He and AAU teammate Juwan Morgan are both Indiana targets in the class and both have visited Bloomington since Saturday.

Milton arrived on Monday morning, saw the campus and facilities, met the team, watched a team workout, and played some pickup with Morgan and others.

"I really enjoyed it," Milton told "We went out and saw everything and we got to watch workouts. All the players are really cool and competitive."

Milton also has offers from Creighton, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas A&M, Tulsa and Wake Forest. He said he plans to narrow his list after the July evaluation period.

Milton felt a connection with current Indiana point guard Yogi Ferrell and said he really enjoyed watching the junior-to-be play.

"It's crazy how fast and quick he is," Milton said. "He's a really good player and a cool guy."

Milton doesn't currently have any other visits planned and said he hopes to return to Bloomington for an official visit sometime in the future. When asked if he thought he and Morgan would end up at IU together, Milton smiled.

"We just might," he said. Top Stories
