Hoops Recruiting Central: News and notes

NBA Top 100 Camp is over, and there are plenty of recruits to update. Get the latest here.

It's been about a week since I did one of these blogs, and there is plenty to update in the world of basketball recruiting.

As you know, Indiana has been very active since the 2016 contact period opened on June 15. The Hoosiers had Shake Milton and Juwan Morgan in for visits last week, and they hosted D.J. Wilkins and Austin Davis on Monday.

Wilkins, a three-star guard from Merrillville, has had interest from Indiana for awhile, but has not been offered. He plays for Indiana Elite.

Davis is a 6-foot-9 big man from Michigan who has flown a bit under the radar. He scored 51 points in a high school game last season.

Eli Wright, a 2016 guard from Kentucky, will visit Indiana tomorrow. Tom Crean was the first to call him when the contact period opened. He's the 36th-ranked player in the Future150.

Other than visit news, NBA Top 100 Camp concluded Sunday in Virginia, and many Indiana targets were in action there. Here's a quick look at the news that came out of the week.

2016 guard Payton Pritchard: Pritchard continues to turn heads every weekend. He's impressed our experts, who wrote about him early in the week in Virginia. Crean was also the first to call Pritchard, an Oregon native, when the contact period opened, and Pritchard has already taken an unofficial visit to Bloomington. He's high on the Hoosiers at this point, but figures to get several more offers in July if he continues to play the way he has lately.

2015 guard Jalen Coleman: Coleman listed Indiana as one of the five schools he'd like to take official visits to, along with Michigan, N.C. State, Notre Dame and UNLV. Coleman has been on Indiana's radar for years, and he's always been a very solid scorer. Coleman plays for La Lumiere and the All Ohio AAU team.

2015 forward Chris Clarke: Clarke, from Virginia, listed Indiana as a school he'd like to visit. Clarke, a 6-foot-6 forward, is regarded as an incredible athlete. He averaged 9.1 points per game at NBA Camp over the weekend and shot 50.8 percent from the field.

I will have more recruiting updates throughout the week.
