Stringer Talks Hoosier Visit

Crete-Monee (Ill.) rising senior linebacker Omari Stringer most recent visit was to Indiana -- one that he definitely enjoyed.

"It was the best visit that I've taken throughout my whole process," Stringer said. "I've been to Indiana four or five times. Every time I visit there is something I always learn new."

And what exactly did Stringer like about Indiana?

"It is a very historic place with a lot of tradition," Stringer said. "I like the football team and Coach Wilson. He is sow down to earth. He's also very upfront."

He added, "He won't lie to you or fill your mind with a fairy tale. He's serious about winning and loves his guys."

There is another coach that stands out to the 6-foot-3, 210 pound prospect.

"Coach Knorr hasn't even been at Indiana that long but when I first met him I related with him and felt chemistry and that our personalities were similar," Stringer said. "I can be open and honest with him and I feel that at Indiana it is about more than football."
