All of a sudden Indiana football has another option at quarterback for the 2014 season.
Danny Cameron, son of former Indiana head coach and current LSU offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, announced Wednesday he will play football at Indiana.
Cameron is a 6-2, 195-pound quarterback from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, La. He initially was classified in the class of 2015 but recently decided to reclassify to 2014.
He will enroll in summer school and be eligible to play right away in the 2014 season.
Indiana was thin at the quarterback position after both Tre Roberson and Cam Coffman announced in the last few months that they were both transferring. Nate Sudfeld is the returning starter and freshman Alexander Diamont was considered the leading candidate to be Sudfeld's backup.
