Oladipo to play in IU-Purdue Alumni game

The Indiana and Purdue Alumni game was moved to July 26. Victor Oladipo is slated to play for Indiana.

The Indiana-Purdue alumni game, originally scheduled for July 19, has been moved to July 26 as part of the Knox Pro Am Series at IUPUI.

The game is always a lot of fun, both for former players from both schools and for the fans.

Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo will play for the Indiana squad, according to multiple reports. Oladipo is entering his second NBA season after finishing as the runner-up in the Rookie of the Year vote last season. NBA Summer League action will have wrapped up by the 26th, making it easier for some guys to participate.

Jordan Hulls, D.J. White, Derek Elston, Earl Calloway and others are also expected to participate for Indiana. Rod Wilmont played for IU last year in a losing effort.

JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore, David Teague, D.J. Byrd, Chris Kramer and others are expected to participate for the Purdue side. Moore was not a participant last year, so it will be interesting to see him and Johnson playing together again.

From the Indiana standpoint, it will be fun for IU fans to see Oladipo, Hulls and Elston all suiting up together after having a great run during their careers in Bloomington.
