Well, it wasn't exactly the start Noah Vonleh was looking for.
Vonleh, a former Indiana standout, had his NBA Summer League debut on Friday in Las Vegas, and it didn't go well.
Vonleh finished the game scoreless in 32 minutes, going 0-of-13 from the field and 0-of-4 from beyond the arc. He did grab six rebounds and block three shots, but he didn't have a single assist and he turned the ball over three times.
It was a woeful game for the Hornets as a team. Charlotte made only 20-of-71 shots from the field and scored only 58 points. Fellow rookie P.J. Hairston scored seven points on 2-of-16 shooting, meaning Charlotte's two draft picks combined to shoot 2-of-29 from the field and 1-of-13 from beyond the arc. Yikes.
Vonleh is back in action today (Sunday) against Sacramento.
