Oladipo playing well in NBA Summer League

Former Indiana star Victor Oladipo continues to get better.

While it's been a tough start for former Indiana standout Noah Vonleh on the NBA Summer League circuit, Victor Oladipo has continued to shine.

Oladipo, who is entering his second year in the league after being selected No. 2 overall by the Orlando Magic last year, has improved even from the end of the regular season.

In three Summer League performances so far, Oladipo is averaging 17.0 points, six rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. He's shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Oladipo's best game was his las one, a 22-point, 5-rebound, 4-assist performance against Detroit on Friday. He got to the foul line 10 times in that game.

I'm sure the Magic would like to see Oladipo's assists numbers improve some, but it's the Summer League where almost nobody passes. Plus, Oladipo's been moved back to the shooting guard with the addition of rookie point guard Elfrid Payton.
