Former Indiana star Victor Oladipo will play with the USA Select team.

Former Indiana All-American and current Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo has been selected to compete with the USA Select team at a three-day training camp later this month.

The story was first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Oladipo, who averaged 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists and finished as the runner-up for the NBA Rookie of the Year award, has had another strong Summer League showing for the Magic.

The USA Select team will compete against the USA Basketball roster to help the coaching staff narrow the list down from 19 to 12 players for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which begins Aug. 30 in Spain.

According to reports, Oladipo will be joined on the Select roster by former Michigan and current New York Knicks' guard Tim Hardaway Jr., the Phoenix Suns' Miles Plumlee, the Brooklyn Nets' Mason Plumlee, the Boston Celtics' Marcus Smart, the Magic's Tobias Harris and the Chicago Bulls' Doug McDermott.
