Indiana offers Marshall, Stevens

There are two new scholarship offers out for Indiana. Find out more about the prospects Tom Crean offered.

The second of three July evaluation periods is now in the books, and Indiana closed the period by extending two new scholarship offers, one on Sunday and one on Monday.

Indiana coach Tom Crean offered to 2016 forward Lamar Stevens on Sunday, a 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect from the Haverford School in Pennsylvania. He plays AAU ball for Team Final.

Stevens, the 48th-ranked player in the class, is a five-star prospect.

Stevens also currently owns offers from Temple, St. Joe's, Penn State, La Salle and Villanova.

On Monday, Crean called and offered 2015 big man Nick Marshall, who I wrote about over the weekend. When Raymond Spalding committed to Louisville on Sunday, Indiana's interest in Marshall increased even more.

Marshall, a 6-foot-11 center from Lexington, Tenn., also has offers from Tennessee, UMASS, Georgia and Ole Miss. He's the 70th-ranked prospect in the 2015 class by the Future150.
