Indiana offers SMU decommit McQuaid

Tom Crean offered Matt McQuaid a scholarship on Wednesday in Vegas.

Indiana wasted little time jumping in the mix for 2015 guard Matt McQuaid, who decommitted from SMU after guard Emmanuel Mudiay decided to forego college and play in China.

Tom Crean watched McQuaid in Las Vegas on Wednesday and offered him a scholarship.

McQuaid, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from Duncanville, Texas, is the 83rd-ranked player in the 2015 class. There aren't many good shooters in 2015, and McQuaid is a pure one.

He has also already picked up offers from Texas, Creighton, Baylor and LSU, according to Scout.com's Evan Daniels.
