You know their statistics. You know all the obvious things there are to know about your favorite Indiana athletes. Now here’s a quick look at a few quick things you may not know in our Five Questions segment.
Today’s Five Questions focuses on IU senior defensive end Bobby Richardson from Tampa, Fla.
1. What was it like going from Tampa, Fla. to Bloomington?
It was a big change, but it was something I was ready for. When I came here for my official visit it was snowing. It was one of the first times I had ever seen that, and I was like ‘I think I’m ready to try that.’ So I left Florida and came up here so I could adapt to the cold, you know, just trying to make some changes.
2. What’s your favorite place to go eat in Bloomington?
Ah, man probably Chipotle, but that’s been my favorite since Florida, so my real favorite is probably Bub’s Burgers, the pound burger. Since I’ve been here I’ve put down three.
3. What is your favorite activity to do with your free time?
I fish. I fish all the time. Coming from Florida, you’re surrounded by water, you got to love the water some kind of way, and I’ve never been a beach kind of guy, but I’ve always been a fishing kind of guy, so I always fish whenever I get a chance. It gives me a chance to free my mind, just think about stuff.
4. Where do you go fishing around here and how often do you get to go fish?
Definitely Lake Monroe, I like it there. During the summer I get to go all the time, but during the season I never get a chance to go. I started it last year, so I haven’t really had time to do it in the season, definitely don’t have time to do it during camp. So summer is the best time for me.
5. What do you like to do when you are lounging around at home?
Netflix, I love Netflix. I love just chilling and watching movies when I have time, or just chill with my friends, you know we just chill, talk about practice, talk about life. I just like to get off my feet and relax.
