Oladipo, Wade, others working out at IU

There are a number of NBA players participating in workouts in Bloomington this week. Read more here.

Last summer, Victor Oladipo and Cody Zeller often returned to Bloomington to work out with Tom Crean before their rookie seasons in the NBA.

Now, they're bringing some of their NBA colleagues along with them.

As first reported by Alex Bozich of Inside the Hall, Oladipo, Zeller, Dwyane Wade, Mario Chalmers, Udonis Haslem, Norris Cole and Josh McRoberts are all in Bloomington working out with Crean and his staff.

Wade, of course, played for Crean at Marquette and McRoberts graduated from Carmel High School. The others, though, are simply along for the ride because of Crean's reputation for player development. He's obviously well respected amongst NBA players.

The current IU players are not participating in the workouts because Crean and his staff are running them and it would be an NCAA violation. Most of the players are back home before the start of the school year anyway following the team's trip to Montreal last week.

Interestingly enough, Indiana is hosting recruit Emmitt Holt on an official visit today, and the Hoosiers hope to sign him in the 2014 class. Holt had opted to attend prep school at Vermont Academy, but I have a hunch it will be really, really hard for him to turn Indiana down, especially with the added bonus of having all the NBA guys on campus.

[NOTE: Oladipo and Zeller are scheduled to appear at Indiana's "On the Road" tour stop at Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday night.]
