Kevin Wilson announced Friday that six Indiana University walk-ons have been rewarded with scholarships for the coming season.

The six include junior wide receiver Damon Graham and junior tight end Michael Cooper who were given scholarships for the first time. Four other players – center Collin Rahrig, wide receiver Isaiah Roundtree, punter Erich Toth and tight end Anthony Corsaro had been given scholarships in the past and will get them again.

According to a press release by IU, Wilson is a former walk-on himself at North Carolina and he awards scholarships on a yearly basis. In his fourth season, Wilson has awarded 23 scholarships to walk-on players.

“As we continue to improve our program with strong recruiting classes, it is also important to continue to develop our walk-on program," Wilson said in the press release from IU. "These young men will be starters or vital contributors this season. They have worked hard to earn their scholarships and we appreciate their efforts."
