The Big Ten Network hosted its football fantasy draft on Monday, and a few Indiana guys were selected early.

BTN.com senior writer Tom Dienhart, BTN.com editor Sean Merriam, statistician Harold Shelton, programmer Tommy Thiel, video coordinator Wes White and senior editor Brent Yarina were picking, meaning there were six picks in each round.

Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld and running back Tevin Coleman both went in the first round with back-to-back picks. Sudfeld went to Wes White at No. 5 and Coleman went to Brent Yarina at No. 6.

Wide receiver Shane Wynn was the only other Indiana player selected in the four-round draft, going White with the second pick (eighth overall) in the second round.

Players selected ahead of Sudfeld and Coleman in the first round: Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon, Nebraska running back Ameer Abdullah, Michigan State running back Jeremy Langford and Maryland wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Michigan wide receiver Devin Funchess went before Wynn in the second round.

Indiana had three players selected in the top eight picks. No other school had more than one. Sudfeld was the first quarterback off the board.

Indiana opens the season Saturday at noon against Indiana State at Memorial Field.
