Ewald to start for Broncos?

Former Indiana kicker Mitch Ewald has a good chance to start in Denver following Mitch Ewald's suspension. Read more here.

Former Indiana kicker Mitch Ewald went undrafted in April's NFL Draft, but he may have the chance to start in Week 1 of the NFL season.

Ewald, who was picked up after the draft by the Denver Broncos, could start the first four games for the Broncos because starter Matt Prater was suspended four games for an alcohol-related violation of the league's substance abuse policy.

Unless the Broncos sign another kicker or Prater's suspension is overturned, Ewald is the guy. Pretty exciting stuff. Former IU wide receiver Cody Latimer is also in Denver.
