Chicago fire delays Milton visit

2015 guard Shake Milton plans to arrive in Bloomington on Saturday morning instead of Friday night due to a fire in Chicago that has the airports closed.

Shake Milton, a 2015 guard from Oklahoma scheduled to make his official visit to Indiana this weekend, will not arrive in Bloomington until at least Saturday morning after a fire in a Chicago air traffic control center has delayed his travel.

No flights are taking off from Chicago's O'Hare or Midway airports today, so Milton cannot get to Bloomington tonight as he originally planned. That will give him less time at IU, but with the football game not starting until 1:30 p.m., Milton should be able to arrive for that.

We will keep you up to date if anything new develops from the fire in Chicago that delays Milton's travel to Bloomington. Top Stories
