Indiana has sold nearly 40,000 tickets for Saturday's Big Ten opener against Maryland at Memorial Stadium, athletic director Fred Glass told AllHoosiers.com on Friday. The school expects a number "comfortably in the 40s" once walk-up sales are factored in.
The Hoosiers pulled off their biggest upset in years last week at then-No. 18 Missouri, and the weather is expected to be favorable on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Indiana will be wearing its chrome helmets for the game.
