Multiple Hoosier freshmen saw action against Maryland for the fourth game in a row.
Simmie Cobbs had one catch for 29 yards. His reception on IU’s second drive set the Hoosiers up in field goal range and led to their second of three field goals.
Tegray Scales saw lots of playing time on defense but recorded just two tackles.
Tony Fields also saw a little playing time on defense and special teams, recording two tackles.
Kiante Walton rotated with redshirt freshman Chase Dutra at safety, finishing with one tackle.
J-Shun Harris II received plenty of playing time, but managed just one reception for nine yards.
Dominique Booth finished with one reception for four yards.
Greg Gooch played sparingly on defense and special teams, with the majority of his playing time coming at the end of the game. He recorded one tackle.
Devine Redding played sparingly and did not record any statistics.
Jordan Fuchs played sparingly at tight end and was only targeted once.
Robert McCray III saw little playing time as well.
