Shake Milton, a 2015 guard from Oklahoma, took his official visit to Indiana this weekend. Milton didn't arrive in Bloomington until Saturday due to a fire in Chicago, but he got to town in time to see Indiana's Big Ten football opener against Maryland on Saturday afternoon.
Milton, who is also still considering Oklahoma and SMU, attended the game with freshman guard James Blackmon Jr. He told AllHoosiers.com he spent most of the visit hanging out with Blackmon Jr., freshman guard Robert Johnson and freshman forward Max Hoetzel.
"The visit went great," Milton told AllHoosiers.com on Sunday night. "I loved meeting all the people and just seeing the campus. It was a great time."
This was Milton's final visit, and he said he plans to make a decision "in the next week or two." Milton took official visits to both Oklahoma and SMU, and he took another unofficial trip to Oklahoma before his IU trip.
The Hoosiers landed Milton's close friend, forward Juwan Morgan, earlier this month, and that could help them with Milton.
We will continue to keep you posted on Milton as his recruitment develops.
