Hoops Recruiting Central: Visitors

Indiana hosted an official basketball visitor this weekend, and a high-caliber guard is coming for Hoosier Hysteria. Get all the details here.

Basketball practice is now underway, and we're less than three weeks away from Hoosier Hysteria. As we get deeper into October, there will be more and more Indiana basketball recruiting news and visitors, culminating with HH at the end of the month.

After hosting 2015 guard Shake Milton on an official visit last week, the Hoosiers welcomed 2015 forward O.G. Anunoby on an official trip this past weekend. The IU football team hosted North Texas on Saturday afternoon.

Anunoby is a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward and he also has offers from Georgia, Iowa, Kansas State, Mississippi, Murray State and Vanderbilt. He has already taken official visits to Georgia and Iowa.

Milton's decision could come as soon as this week. The four-star guard will choose between Indiana, Oklahoma and SMU. He took visits to all three schools, and Oklahoma is his state school.

There will be a lot of visitors on campus for Hoosier Hysteria, and we learned Sunday that one of them will be New York guard Rawle Alkins. Alkins, a 6-foot-5 guard in the 2016 class, will visit Villanova on Oct. 24, the night before Hoosier Hysteria, and then will arrive in Bloomington on Saturday.

Alkins, a four-star prospect, visited Seton Hall for the school's Midnight Madness event. He also plans to visit Providence and N.C. State soon, one the weekend of Oct. 17.

“It was fun," Alkins told SNY.tv of the Seton Hall trip. "They had a suite for me. I was hanging out with a lot of celebrities. They talked about the program. They showed me around a little bit.”

Indiana also recently checked in on 2017 forward Jordan Tucker, who plays for White Plains High School in New York. The 6-foot-7 forward is a top 30 prospect in his class.

As we get closer to Hoosier Hysteria, we will compile a complete list of recruiting visitors for the weekend. Stay tuned.
