Ogugua (O.G.) Anunoby, a 2015 forward from Jefferson City, Mo., took his official visit to Indiana this past weekend. It was the last of Anunoby's three official visits, and he told Scout.com he plans to make a decision within the next 1-2 weeks.
Anunoby, a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward, is unranked, but he's an athletic, talented post player. He is also still considering Georgia and Iowa. He planned to visit Ole Miss on Oct. 18 and Gonzaga on Oct. 25, but has cancelled those visits for now.
"I plan on committing soon," Anunoby told Scout.com. "I'm going to just keep thinking about it until I'm ready. I told the (college) coaches not to come to any more of my workouts until I make my decision so I can focus in it."
Anunoby has spent considerable time talking with 2015 forward Juwan Morgan, a fellow Missourian who committed to Indiana in September. That relationship could be a good thing for Tom Crean and the Hoosiers.
We will have more on Anunoby's decision as it gets closer. Expect more to come in the next week.
Meanwhile, 2015 guard Shake Milton told The Indianapolis Star on Tuesday that he needs more time to consider the remaining three schools on his list before making a decision. Milton visited Indiana in late September and is also still considering Oklahoma and SMU.
