UPDATE: 4:25 p.m.: Nate Sudfeld has a separated shoulder and there is no timetable for his return, Indiana coach Kevin Wilson said after the game. It sounds like Sudfeld will likely at least be out for a couple of weeks.
UPDATE: 2:35 p.m.: Sudfeld remains out of the game and has not played in the second half. Covington remains in the game, and it hasn't been pretty. The Hoosiers can't move the ball at all.
Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld left Saturday's game at Iowa in the first half with an apparent left shoulder injury. Sudfeld left in the second quarter after he was sacked by two Iowa defensive linemen.
Sudfeld's status for the second half is not yet known.
Sudfeld remained on the IU sideline initially, but he appeared to be in a great deal of pain and eventually was taken back to the locker room. True freshman Chris Covington has taken over for Sudfeld, and has struggled thus far.
