Bryant to visit IU for Hoosier Hysteria

2015 four-star center Thomas Bryant will make his second trip to Indiana in as many weeks on Saturday. What does it mean?

UPDATE: Bryant will no longer attend Hoosier Hysteria due to illness.

Thomas Bryant, a highly-ranked center in the 2015 class, will visit Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria on Saturday, has confirmed. Inside the Hall was the first to report the news.

Bryant, 6-foot-10 and 220 pounds, visited Indiana just last weekend on an official trip. He has cut his list to just Indiana, Missouri and Syracuse.

Syracuse has long been considered the favorite to land Bryant, but the fact he is visiting Indiana for the second time in as many weeks is a great sign for the Hoosiers. Getting high-end recruits on campus for an event like Hoosier Hysteria is always an important thing.

Bryant is rated as a four-star prospect by and is the 31st-ranked player in the 2015 class, including the 9th-ranked center.

Of the schools still involved with Bryant, Indiana has the biggest need in the post. Bryant would be a major upgrade for the Hoosiers inside and could make them one of the nation's better teams next season.

Why would Bryant visit the same school twice in two weeks, this time on his own dime? Well, one possibility is that he really enjoyed the first visit and wants to see the campus a second time, this time with the basketball arena full. Another possibility is that he wants to go with his friends Miles Bridges and Curtis Jones, who are both expected to be in attendance for Hoosier Hysteria. Or it could be a combination of both.

We will have an update on Bryant after the weekend. For now, watch some video highlights of Bryant in the embedded video player below.
