Haunted Hall of Hoops this Saturday

Indiana will host the annual Haunted Hall of Hoops on Saturday in Assembly Hall. The IU basketball team will have a free scrimmage at Noon and fans are encouraged to attend the practice and stay for the Haunted Hall festivities.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- The Indiana University men's basketball team will open up Assembly Hall this Saturday at noon free of charge as fans are encouraged to attend a practice and scrimmage.

The day also includes the annual Haunted Hall of Hoops activities. Games and candy in the south lobby start at noon and will continue through most of the practice and scrimmage. Following the scrimmage (approx. 1:45 p.m.), children in costume will be allowed to be in a parade on the Assembly Hall floor and group pictures with the coaches and players will be taken immediately afterward.

"We always enjoy this event with our fans," said IU Coach Tom Crean. "It's important to have our team prepare as many times as they can in front of people and there are no better fans to play in front of than the Hoosier Nation."
