Indiana sophomore forward Devin Davis suffered a hairline skull fracture when he was struck by a car early Saturday morning, multiple sources have told AllHoosiers.com. The car was driven by freshman Emmitt Holt, who had a BAC of 0.025.
Davis still has swelling and bruising in his brain, but he was moved out of the ICU on Monday night. Davis started some light rehab earlier Tuesday and was able to stand up with assistance for the first time since the accident. Davis also ate a little bit of solid foods for the first time on Tuesday.
"Memory is getting better," one source said. "Long way to go."
Sources say Davis should make a full recovery, but will have a lot of rehab in front of him.
