Video Staff Analysis: IU-SMU

Following Indiana's victory over No. 22 SMU Thursday night, members of the staff did a postgame analysis of the Hoosiers victory.

After playing two easy opponents the first two games, Indiana faced its first real test Thursday night and found a way to beat SMU 74-68.

And the Hoosiers did so in some unconventional ways.

IU only had seven turnovers and neither Yogi Ferrell or James Blackmon Jr. had a single miscue.

The Hoosiers only shot 36 percent from the field but hit some timely baskets down the stretch.

And IU was able to make some clutch free throws, too, to help seal the victory.

Following the game,'s Sarah Beeson, Justin Albers and Terry Hutchens looked back at the IU win.

It wasn’t perfect but IU passed first test
